The Making of Advait Living Orthodox Loose Leaf Black Tea

At Advait Living, our Premium Black Tea is crafted with a deep respect for tradition, nature, and craftsmanship. Grown in Assam’s fertile fields, our tea benefits from the region's unique climate and soil, cultivated organically by skilled local farmers. 

• The process begins with meticulous manual plucking of the finest 'tippy golden flowery orange pekoe' leaves, which are then withered on bamboo racks for 20-24 hours to maintain their delicate structure and develop rich flavours. 
• The leaves undergo controlled oxidation to enhance their malty flavour and deep coppery hues, followed by hand-rolling to release natural oils, further intensifying their aroma. 
• After drying to remove moisture, the leaves are sorted and graded to ensure only the finest make it into our premium product, packaged in eco-friendly, airtight containers to preserve their freshness and flavour.

Advait Living’s Raw Sunflower Honey is a testament to ethical beekeeping and meticulous care. 

• Our bee colonies, nurtured in the sunflower-rich region of Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, are housed in specially designed bee boxes that mimic natural habitats, ensuring bee safety and sustainability. 
• As bees collect nectar, they create honeycombs in wooden frames, which are then manually harvested using cool smoke to calm the bees, preserving their health. 
• The honey is extracted through a gentle centrifugal method, maintaining its natural enzymes, antioxidants, and vitamins by avoiding high temperatures. 
• After cold filtering to remove debris, the honey is bottled in sterilised glass jars, ensuring purity and freshness. 
• Our sustainable practices ensure that only 70% of the honey is extracted, leaving ample food for the bees, and we avoid collecting pollen to support their health, aligning with our commitment to environmental responsibility and quality.
